PTP's Purpose
Pamper That Pet's purpose was not to make money to be spent on little things. At the age of 12, in 2015, Ivy Millichamp-Parry, a Western Australian equestrian, started up PTP with an important purpose.
Ivy's dream is to own a riding school when she's older, and not just any riding school. A riding school that teaches natural horsemanship and riding skills, with rescued horses. Rescued horses would be retrained, and when ready, allowed to be ridden by the adults and children attending the riding school. Some horses may even be fully trained in bridleless riding, allowing the children to develop a sense of balance without the reins.
Ivy hopes to share her passion of natural horsemanship and riding with her students at the riding school, and teach children about the horse's behaviour - not just how to ride.
You might be wondering - where does Pamper That Pet come into play? Well, 100% of Pamper That Pet's profit goes towards saving up for this riding school, which will be named "Scandy's Fields" in memory of the little black pony mare, called Scandy, that Ivy rode for 4.5 years (who she learned how to ride on), that passed away in September, 2016.
